The next edition is confirmed between August 04 and 06, 2020.
The fair, nationally recognized as one of the most important in the metalworking and oil and gas sector, reinforces its position in the market year by year and is established as a space for the presentation of technological news, networking and the presence of the main suppliers and buyers. from the country. There were more than 200 exhibiting brands and 120 hours of intense content.
For the president of Sindifer, Lúcio Dalla Bernardina, the event surprised and exceeded the expectations of the entity with an increase of qualified visiting public and also the presence of national and local authorities. “We realize at MEC SHOW that the outlook is positive for the oil and gas market and that companies are looking to evolve technologically to meet this demand.”
Findes Oil and Gas Forum coordinator Durval Vieira de Freitas said that the fair was able, for another year, to show the capacity of Espírito Santo’s suppliers and attract a qualified buying public. “Opportunities exist and companies need to be empowered to serve this huge market,” he said.
ROUNDS
More than 120 suppliers from the state’s metalworking, construction and oil and gas sectors participated in the Business Roundtable held by Sebrae ES during the three days of the event. On the first day, focusing on the construction sector, 104 meetings were held, with future projections of over R $ 6.5 million in business.
On the second day, with the participation of seven large buyers divided into 12 purchasing departments, 47 small companies focused on businesses in the metalworking segment. There were 99 meetings and future projection of over R $ 19 million.
This Thursday, the last day of the event, the round included six major oil and gas buyers, divided into 11 purchasing departments, with 54 small business suppliers. In 111 meetings, the expectation is more than R $ 13.3 million in business within a year.
BUSINESS
One of the attractions at MEC SHOW 2019 was the demonstration of ii9000, an equipment of the American multinational Fluke, partner of Viferro, that generates ultrasonic imaging. Launched two weeks ago, major companies such as Vale, ArcelorMittal, Samarco, Tevisa, EDP, Petrobras and others requested a demonstration.
“It’s a device that can see the sound. So think of it as a leak of air, oil, etc. We performed here at MEC SHOW and had a great reception. The fair has become a space for the presentation of news, ”says Caio Tappiz, brand representative in Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo.
For Viferro’s commercial manager Bruno Denarde, for another year, MEC SHOW was able to serve as a space for partner presentation, customer contact and networking.
Luis Soares Cordeiro, Estel’s president, stressed that the company participates since the beginning of MEC SHOW and that each year increases the qualification of the visiting public, reinforcing its importance for doing good business. “There are opportunities for suppliers, contact with important buyers, and more and more the fair shows the capacity of Espírito Santo companies,” he said.
